52 waiting for a hospital bed and 51 Covid-19 patients in the north west



Sligo University Hospital has the fifth highest number of people nationwide receiving treatment for Covid-19 with 34, one of whom is in the ICU.

17 people with the virus are also in Letterkenny University Hospital with one also in the ICU there.

610 people are in a n Irish hospital with Covid-19 today 54 of whom are in an ICU.

When it comes to overcrowding, 52 people are waiting for a bed in the north west today.

35 are waiting in Letterkenny University Hospital, with 17 waiting in Sligo University Hospital, down from weekly highs of 43 and 39 respectively.

Overall throughout the country today, 438 people in hospitals are waiting for beds.
