The latest figures on the number of Covid-19 cases per electoral areas in the OCEAN FM franchise area has been released by health officials.
The figures have been complied from September 15th to September 28th.
In the Donegal electoral area 17 cases have been confirmed.
In Sligo the highest number of cases have been recorded in the Sligo/Strandhill electoral area with 11 cases being confirmed. The number of cases in the Ballymote/Tubbercurry area stands at less than 5, while 6 cases have been recorded in the Sligo/Drumcliff electoral area.
In the Manorhamilton electoral area of County Leitrim less than 5 cases have been confirmed.
There are currently 4 people being treated for Covid-19 at Sligo University Hospital and 7 patients are being treated in Letterkenny University Hospital.
Locally a number of businesses have closed on a temporary basis due to concerns over Covid-19. Andersons Grill and Bar in Sligo have closed as a precaution while some staff members await results from recent tests.
The Blind Tiger in Sligo has also closed on a temporary basis after a member of staff tested positive Covid-19.
While in Donegal, The Donegal Tyre Centre has also closed temporarily again a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19, Management of the tyre centre have confirmed on their social media account that they are awaiting further guidance from the HSE.
