Burst water mains affecting supply in Co. Sligo



A burst water main is causing disruption to supply in Co. Sligo.

The affected areas ear in and around Achonry.

Irish Water say works are taking place and are due to be complete by 6pm this evening.

The full areas affected are Muckelty, Tobertelly, Carnayara, Lavagh, Carrowmore, Carrownleck, Cloonarara, Carroweden, Carrownloughlan, Killoran, Shancough, Rathbarron, Rathgran, Ballymurray, Ballinacarrow Village, Cloonacurra, Rinbaun, Carrowreilly, Tullyhug.

While mains rehabilitation works may cause supply disruptions to Ellesmere Avenue, Bundoran and surrounding areas in Co. Donegal from Monday at 10am until 4pm

And repair works are also taking place on Monday in Co. Leitrim around Wardhouse, Tullaghan and surrounding areas.

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works of both of these with an estimated time of completion of 2pm in Leitrim and 5pm in the Donegal areas.

In all cases, Irish Water say it could take upto 3 hours after works have finished before the watersupply has fully returned.
