Justice Minister Helen McEntee will be in Sligo today to attend the Prison Officer’s Association’s Annual Delegate Conference.
The conference is being held in the Radisson Blu hotel near Rosses Point until tomorrow.
Minister McEntee opted not attend the recent Garda Representative Association conference in Mayo this week, after Garda Commissioner, Drew Harris was not invited.
She is due to address the Prison Officer’s Association later on today.
