A lotto player in Donegal has become Ireland’s newest millionaire.
A player scooped €1 million in Saturday night’s special lotto draw.
The winning ticket was purchased at Doherty’s Centra in Moville.
Each of the tickets with the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number drawn in the draw were entered into a once-off random draw where one ticket was selected to win an additional prize of €1 million.
While every ticket holder who had the winning Raffle number won €500, one player has won €1 million, in addition to the usual €500 prize.
The winning numbers drawn were 5, 6, 17, 21, 30, 32 and the bonus was 34.
Residents or anyone who was passing through the county in recent days are being urged to check their tickets.
