Water campaign launched to help protect North West coasts

Clean Coasts have organised a new campaign to highlight what people should and should not be pouring down their sinks.

A recent survey showed 34% of people were regularly pouring damaging items down the sink, which included items such as milk, gravy, and cooking oils.

The Think Before You Pour campaign is connected with their previous Think Before You Flush campaign, which has the aim protecting waterways and coastal environments.

Patrick Cross, of Clean Coasts, spoke about the negative impact this has on the coasts of the North West.
