The 10th Annual Streets of Ballyshannon 5k Road Race & Walk takes place this morning at 11.30am and will cause some traffic disruption between 11.30am and 12.15pm.
The event is being held on the Port side of town.
The race starts at Lakeside Centre on Belleek Road at 11.30am and proceeds in Bundoran direction along Assaroe Rd and Portnason, turning at Cornhill to finish at East Port.
As participants pass through the various junctions’ disruption will ease off.
However, it will remain in West Port and East Ports areas until 12.15pm.
Access to and from the Rock area will be quite restricted between 11.30am and 12.15pm.
The organisers have apologised for the disruption, which they will endeavor to keep to a minimum.
