GRA President confident that Body Worn Cameras will soon be available for local Gardai



It’s hoped that Garda Body Worn Cameras will be rolled out in the North West shortly.

 

It was confirmed yesterday that the equipment is to be tested in two Dublin stations, as well as one in each of Limerick and Waterford.

 

The test period is expected to begin in April and run for 3 months.

 

President of the Garda Representative Association and Donegal based Garda Brendan O’Connor hopes that this will pave the way for Gardai in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal to be kitted out later this year:
