St Attracta’s Community School, Tubbercurry, captured the Connacht Colleges LGFA senior ‘B’ football title on Friday with an exciting 0-13 to 0-12 win over Mount St Michael Secondary School from Claremorris, at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence.
The win follows on from the school’s girls junior ‘A’ provincial success in 2023.
The Attracta’s senior boys team were crowneed Connacht Colleges B champions last year.
Now, the girls have emulated that achievement with this latest provincial title.
Katie Walsh, who along with James McDonagh, manages the team, spoke to Ocean FM Sport’s Austin O’Callaghan after the win.
