Sligo Rovers outplayed by Bohemians

Sligo Rovers were soundly beaten 3-0 by Bohemians in Friday night’s SSE Airtricity League Premier Division game at the Showgrounds.

Headers in the first half from James Clarke and Aboubacar Keita, and a rocket from Dayle Rooney in the second, helped Bohs secure a comfortable win over a Sligo Rovers side who barely threatened the visitors goal all evening.

It was Bohemians biggest win of the season so far – and it’s now one win in nine matches for Sligo Rovers.

Elsewhere, leaders Shelbourne beat Waterford at Tolka Park – while Stephen Kenny’s first game in charge of St Pat’s ended in defeat against his former club Derry City.
