The Donegal Sports Star Awards ceremony will take place this Friday night, January 26th, in the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny.
The Awards, which are now into their 48th year and sponsored by Donegal County Council, will celebrate the local sporting year of 2023.
Donegal senior gaelic football manager Jim McGuinness will be the special guest of honour – and the event is a 600 sell-out.
There are 161 nominees across 40 categories.
Just three people – Tom Conaghan, Joe Barr and Bea Greenberg – know they are going to be honoured.
Conaghan, a successful County and club manager in the 1980s, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Veteran ultra cyclist Barr will receive a Sporting Acknowledgement Award and Greenberg will be honoured for successes in Surfing.
