Clean up operation underway after overnight storm



Council crews have this morning started the process of removing trees and falling debris from many roads across the region.

 

Ocean FM news understand that fire crews were out until the small hours dealing with  clearing many fallen trees across parts of  the region.

 

Council crews throughout, Sligo Leitrim and Donegal are currently clearing many roads at present.

 

 

Meanwhile Usice Eireann are advising that the lack of electricity may impact water supply in parts of North Leitrim.

 

Customers in Glenade, Kinlough and Tullaghan are among the areas that could be impacted.

 

Usice Eireann say the disruption to supply will continue until power is restored.
