Bishop of Elphin, Kevin Doran, spoke in support of the Pro Life campaign before the “March For Life” in Dublin.
Bishop Doran argued against the acts of abortion and euthanasia, and encouraged others to continue to support religious values.
He said, “Nothing – no law, no public policy and no peer pressure from neighbours or colleagues can remove our right and indeed our responsibility to advocate publicly for those who are most vulnerable, especially at the beginning and at the end of life.”
He concluded by stating, “God knows us intimately and loves us for all eternity.”
