Atlantic Technology University to benefit from latest Students Mental Health support



Local campuses of the Atlantic Technology University will benefit from the latest round of funding for Students Mental Health supports to be announced today.

 

5 million euro is being made available to third level students.

 

Over €430,000 has been allocated for mental health support for ATU, the highest allocation in the country.

 

 

Higher Education Institutions can avail of the funding to engage mental health professionals including student councillors, assistant psychologists, nurses and GPs.

 

 

It brings to almost 21 million, the total amount allotted to provide such service since 2020.
