A fisherman is recovering in hospital after sustaining an injury on board a vessel close to Killybegs yesterday.
The Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked to the scene yesterday evening to meet a fishing vessel at Killybegs Harbour to assist the National Ambulance Service with the injured crewman.
They attended the scene at 7 p.m after being tasked by Malin Head Coast Guard.
The man was later transferred from the vessel into the care of NAS paramedics and taken to hospital for further treatment.
