Tánaiste remembers Creeslough Victims at Cairde Fáil Dinner

The Tánaiste Michael Martin extended his thoughts and prayers to the community of Creeslough and affected families on the first anniversary of the explosion.

While members of Fianna Fáil from across the country gathered on Saturday night for the annual Cairde Fáil Dinner the Tánaiste began the proceedings remembering those who lost their lives last year in the Creeslough tragedy.

The Tánaiste took the opportunity to praise the work of all his Ministers in the great work their departments were doing, but in particular Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue TD on his recent strides in the handling of issues in relation to the ACRES Scheme, the Forestry Programme and Strategy, and the Nitrates Derogation Limit.

Finally, the Tánaiste concluded his remarks committing to helping homes throughout Ireland in the Government’s Budget.
