‘Balance must be struck’ on minimum wage & ensuring North West businesses stay afloat



The Government is facing further pressure to strike a balance between increasing the minimum wage and ensuring that businesses in the North West stay afloat.

 

That’s according to Independent TD Marc MacSharry who has been highlighting the ongoing struggle by various sectors in the region due to inflation and the ongoing cost of living crisis.

 

Speaking in the Dail ahead of the Budget announcement next week, Deputy MacSharry says many local businesses are at the pin of their collar and urgently need help too.

 

He’s calling on the Government to come up with a plan that will meet the needs of everyone:
