Bus Eireann comes in for criticism over ‘splitting Donegal in half’



Bus Eireann has come in for criticism over ‘splitting Donegal in half’ when it comes to providing its service.

 

There have been reports that a number of elderly people were left on the roadside in Donegal Town recently because they didn’t book online.

 

It has led to calls for ten double decker buses to be placed in Donegal Town and ten in Stranorlar.

 

Fianna Fail Stranorlar based Cllr Patrick McGowan thinks that services operating out of Donegal Town and Letterkenny are doing so in a totally separate capacity with no coordination – something he feels in this day and age is ridiculous:
