Four sets of twins have all started in first year in a secondary school in Sligo.
Staff at Grange Post-Primary School say one set of twins can be out of the ordinary, however, four in one year group is highly unusual.
The eight students, Tommy and Freddy Scanlon; Noah and Emma McAndrew; Laoise and Beggah Carroll; and Charlie and Robbie Barron, represent 13 per cent of the school’s incoming students this year, according to the Irish Independent.
