Three people are receiving treatment in hospital this morning after being injured in a serious road traffic collision in Donegal Town.
It’s believed one of those injured is in a serious condition.
The injured people were sitting outside a premises on Tirconaill Street when they were struck by a car at approximately 8p.m. yesterday evening. They are aged in their 50’s and 60’s and it’s thought they were tourists.
The three injured people were removed to Letterkenny University Hospital.
Anybody with information or with dash cam footage from the Donegal Town area at the time of the accident are asked to contact Gardaí in Donegal Town or Ballyshannon.
Gardai say Investigations are ongoing.
