Covid-19 vaccines for children continue to be rolled out across the North West

Vaccinations against Covid-19 are still available, and will be rolled out in Sligo and Leitrim to children between the ages of 6 months and 11 years next week.

Cases of Covid-19 have been slowly rising in Ireland in the last number of weeks.

The clinics for children in Sligo will take place in the Covid vaccination centre in the Sligo Development Centre on the Cleveragh Road between 9.30am and 11.30am on Thursday, August 24th.

On the same day, in Leitrim, the centre in the HSE Community Services building in Carrick on Shannon will be open between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

Parents are encouraged to get their children vaccinated in the coming weeks, and appointments can be made online at https://www2.hse.ie/screening-and-vaccinations/covid-19-vaccine/get-the-vaccine/booking/
