League finals weekend in Donegal



Donegal GAA stages it’s Division 1 and 2 men’s league finals this weekend in gaelic football.

Saturday sees Marley Coaches Division 2 pacesetters play Naomh Columba in the league decider at Davy Brennan Memorial Park in Glenties.

Throw-in is at 2:30pm.

It will be preceded by the reserve league final between Four Masters and Termon (12:30pm).

The Brian McCormick Sports Division 1 final between county champions Naomh Conaill and St Eunan’s takes place on Sunday afternoon in MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey at 3pm.

The curtain raiser there will be the Division 1B final between Naomh Conaill and Gweedore (1:30pm).

Donegal GAA is trialing a new ticketing system for Sunday’s Division 1 football finals.

Tickets can be bought using a QR code on the Donegal GAA website – or  accessing the site via this link.

Tickets are priced at €10 for Adults, €5 for OAP’s/Students (ID required).

Children u12 are free when accompanied by an adult.

This is also semi-final weekend in the Grand Canal Hotel Summer Hurling Championship.

St Eunan’s play Burt on Friday evening – while county champions Setanta play Buncrana in Letterkenny on Saturday evening at 7pm.

It’s also intermediate hurling semi-final weekend with Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon taking on MacCumhaill’s in Friday evening’s semi-final in Ballyshannon
