The Government’s All-Island Strategic Rail Review contains glaring omissions for Donegal and the wider North West.
That’s according to Independent TD for Donegal Thomas Pringle who has been expressing his disappointment over the plan which was announced last week.
There is no proposed line between Sligo and Letterkenny while the plan gives no mention to Donegal Town.
Deputy Pringle says it’s clear that there are many shortcomings and that its crucial for people to take part in the public consultation on the subject:
