A number of people have been rescued from the water at Strandhill today.
A multi-agency operation was launched earlier this afternoon after reports of people in difficulty in the water.
It’s understood that four teenagers were subsequently rescued and brought safely to shore.
The Emergency Services have been praised for their quick response.
