There are urgent calls on the Agriculture Minister to extend the application deadline for the Shass Relief Scheme.
Currently, applications need to be submitted by tomorrow, November 30th however it’s thought locally that serious outstanding questions as it relates to the scheme have yet to be answered.
INHFA county Leitrim Chairman Martin Feehily believes that farmers need more time to ascertain the finer detail.
