Colm McFadden to coach Sligo forwards

Sligo GAA has announced that Donegal All-Ireland winner Colm McFadden is joining Tony McEntee’s senior management team for 2023 as forwards coach.

The St Michael’s clubman was widely regarded as one of the country’s leading attackers in a fifteen-season intercounty career with Donegal from 2002 to 2016.

He played a key role in Donegal’s 2012 All-Ireland victory, a year in which he won an All Star and was also nominated for Footballer of the Year.

He also won three Ulster Championships and one National Football League.

McFadden will start to work with the Sligo players in January.
