Greg Bolger has signed a contract extension with Sligo Rovers which will keep him at the Showgrounds until the end of the 2023.
The experienced midfielder will also take up a coaching role with the club next season.
Bolger, who is 34, has won three League of Ireland titles during a playing career which included spells with St Patrick’s Athletic, Cork City and Shamrock Rovers.
He joined Sligo Rovers in 2020 and has made 56 appearances to date for the club, captaining the side for many of those games.
While injury hampered his involvement somewhat this season, he remains an influential member of the first-team squad.
