Six people were injured following an altercation which took place at a hotel in Fermanagh yesterday afternoon. The incident happened after protesters disrupted a political conference.
One man was arrested after the events which took place at the Lough Erne Resort which is situated outside of Enniskillen shortly after 1pm.
It’s understood that two people were treated at the scene for their injuries with a further four taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
A man in his 30’s was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He remains in police custody at this time.
