Sligo Rovers say they are are aware of incidents which took place at half-time during Friday night’s victory over St. Patrick’s Athletic at The Showgrounds.
In a statement released on Saturday morning, Rovers said the incidents have been captured on CCTV and individuals have been identified and will be subjected to lengthy stadium bans.
The club also thanked supporters for their support 2022 and says it “will not allow our supporters’ fantastic reputation be tarnished by a minority of supporters who come to cause trouble.”
