Donegal Bay Rowing Club’s Luke Keaney finished sixth in Friday’s men’s doubles ‘A’ final at the European Coastal Rowing Championships in San Sebastien.
He and his team-mate David Hussey (Portmagee) had won their heat on Thursday and enjoyed a top-six finish behind winners Spain in Friday’s final.
There are four Donegal crews competing at the European’s this weekend.
The Spanish venue is also hosting the European Beach Sprint Championships with another Donegal Bay Rowing Club competitor Meabh McNamara competing later on Friday in the women’s U19 Time Trial.
