Councillor calls for toilets in Rosses Point to be kept open



There are calls for the public toilets in Rosses Point to be open all year round.

Currently the facility is only open over summer months, however concerned members of the public have raised serious concern over how this is impacting those with a disability who need to use them.

Sligo County Council has stressed that such a move would be costly in terms of maintenance and upkeep.

But Cllr Declan Bree believes there is case to be made for the toilets not to close during the unseasonal months:
