Leitrim senior football manager Andy Moran brought the curtain down on his senior club playing career with his native Ballaghaderreen last Saturday evening by scoring 3-3 in their Mayo senior championship relegation semi-final victory over Davitts.
Moran, who turns 39 in November, was given a Guard of Honour and standing ovation by his team-mates at the end of the game.
Ballaghaderreen won the match by 6-8 to 2-8 to preserve their senior championship status for 2023.
