A Roscommon town has won an International Tidy Towns award.
Keadue has won gold in the prestigious Entente Florale Europe competition in Hungary, and was one of two nominations chosen from a pool of over 900 entrants.
Other competitors in Keadue’s category included towns in France, Hungary, Belgium, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.
This is the second time Keadue was up for the award, having previously been nominated in 2003.
