Sligo Traveller Support Group express disappointment regarding electricity issues



Sligo Traveller Support Group have expressed their disappointment as it has been revealed that families living on halting sites will not receive full credit for electricity this winter.

 

In a scheme launched a number of months ago, families in Ireland can receive full credit for their electricity through their own Meter Point Reference Number.

 

However, as there is usually only one MPRN per halting site, that means that families using the same MPRN will have their credit divided between them, instead of receiving the full credit per home.
