Donegal consultant speaks out as part of ‘Vision Zero’



A Donegal Doctor has issued an appeal to road users to do what’s in their gift to prevent road traffic collisions.

 

Dr Aine Keating, Consultant at Letterkenny University Hospital has been speaking out as part of ‘Vision Zero’ which is a Government strategy aimed at eliminating all road deaths and serious injuries by the year 2050.

 

Bigger fines for speeding, phone use and non-wearing of seat belts were introduced last week as part of the initiative.
