Donegal TD criticises the RSA in Dáil speech

A Donegal TD has spoken in the Dáil today about the difficulties local authorities face in tackling road safety issues.

Deputy Thomas Pringle criticised the RSA over not sharing road traffic collision data due to GDPR.

There have been 72 road fatalities in Ireland so far this year, an increase on the same period of last year.

Deputy Pringle says Donegal County Council have struggled to make roads safer due to a lack of records to support them.
