It’s anticipated that Sligo homeowners affected by Mica will be added to the enhanced redress scheme at the end of July.
There had been some concern locally that the initial announcement failed to include County Sligo however a committee has been established and have been drafting procurement documents
Sligo Independent Cllr Marie Casserly says it will be tight turnaround time for all the reports to be submitted but has been welcoming the progress.
