Gardaí in Sligo will continue to investigate today if there was a homophobic motive behind the murders of two men in Sligo town.
58-year-old Michael Snee and 42-year-old Aidan Moffitt were found dead in their homes earlier this week.
Gardaí are questioning a man in his 20s in connection with the murders. They are believed to be examining the online dating history of the suspect.
Although two separate murder investigations are underway, one line of inquiry is that they are linked.
