€189,000 allocated for north west under Town and Village Renewal Scheme



Just over €189,000 has been allocated to the region for a range of projects under the Government’s Town and Village Renewal Scheme.

€44,100 is going to Manorhamilton to develop an outdoor public space and cultural exchange area and €50,000 for Enniscrone to develop a vacant factory into a shared working area.

€50,000 has also gone to Dunlewey in Co. Donegal and €45,000 for Blacklion in Co. Cavan.

The funds were announced by Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys, during her Sligo visit on Friday.

Fianna Fail Cavan Councillor, John Paul Feeley has welcomed the Blacklion funding for the Development of Mooney’s Hall in the village.
