A number of weather warnings are impacting the north west today and tomorrow including a national yellow warning for high winds until 9am Monday morning.
A separate Status Orange wind warning for Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo begins at 11pm tonight and remains until 7am Monday morning.
The forecaster predict Storm Franklin will cause gale force winds with severe and damaging gusts which combined with very high seas will lead to wave overtopping, which may result in coastal flooding.
While a yellow alert for rain remains across the region until 6pm this evening.
