Four ICU beds available in the north west

There are only four ICU beds available across the north west according to the latest HSE figures.

A total of 69 Covid-19 patients are being treated in the region today, 46 in Letterkenny University Hospital and 23 in Sligo University Hospital there are also two people in the ICU of both hospitals.

There are 1,006 people being treated for Covid-19 across the country today 88 of whom are in ICU’s.

The latest Irish nurses and Midwives Organisation Trolley Watch show 30 people are waiting for a bed in letterkenny today and 22 in Sligo.
