The Bee Park Community Centre in Manorhamilton is the venue today and tomorrow for an innovative event that both raises funds and raises awareness about energy generation and use.
It’s being organised by the North Leitrim Sustainable Energy Community.
Local businesses, clubs and schools are showing their support by sponsoring teams to take part in the ’24 Hours of Power challenge using spin bikes from the centre.
Members of the public are invited to come along and cheer on the various teams, as well as finding out how much pedalling it takes to make your toast or charge your phone.
