People in South Donegal and Sligo are being urged to apply extra caution following a large increase in Covid-19 numbers in the areas.
In a statement to OceanFM this afternoon, the HSE say there has been an outbreak in the Collooney and Coolaney areas of Co. Sligo with over 100 people contracting the virus.
There has also been a noticeable increase in Bundoran and surrounding areas in Co. Donegal.
Director of Public health for the HSE North West Region, Dr. Anthony Breslin says it is ‘now more important than ever’ for people to follow public health guidelines.
