Optimism around Ireland’s economic recovery post Covid-19



Ireland needs to focus on reviving and rebooting the economy in anticipation of a new reality post Covid-19.

That’s according to Seamus Hand, the Managing Partner of accounting firm KPMG in Ireland.

The Donegal Town native says certain industries have been hit hard, such as the hospitality and aviation sectors.

He says the Irish people and businesses have shown great resilience throughout the pandemic.

Speaking to OceanFM’s Clarie Ronan, Seamus is optimistic that when we can begin restarting the economy, there is significant potential for a strong recovery.
