Karl Lacey has stepped away from the Donegal senior football management team for the 2021 season.
The 2012 All-Ireland winner was worked alongside manager Declan Bonner for the last three years, during which time Donegal lifted back-to-back Ulster senior titles.
It’s understood Lacey informed the players of his decision in the past 48 hours.
Local media reports Donegal suggest the Four Masters clubman has cited family and work commitments as the reasons behind his decision.
Lacey works as a lecturer in Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
