The same section of the N59 route is down to one lane again following a the forest fire in the area reigniting.
A crew from Sligo Fire Service is currently at the scene which is by Culleens.
The fire initially broke out last Wednesday leading to a large buildup of smoke which was reducing visibility significantly.
The section of the road had fully reopened on Saturday.
Gardaí are currently controlling the stop go system and motorists are advised to be careful if driving in the area.
