Ransboro National School have general election



The pupils and staff at Ransboro School in County Sligo will be holding a mock general election today.

Ahead of country’s Saturday general election, a Sligo school will be holding their very own general election to give students a chance to understand what it means and what it is like to vote.

Joined by local sitting TD’s and Sligo/Leitrim general elections pupils are set to vote on mock ballot papers to replicate those that will be available to the general public on Saturday.
