Fine Gael rescind decision to expel Jude Perry

A Fine Gael general election candidate has confirmed to Ocean FM news that the decision taken by the party to expel Jude Perry has been ‘rescinded’

Fine Gael had taken the decision to expel Perry, a member of its youth organisation after they claimed he publicly supported his father who is running as an independent candidate in the Sligo/Leitrim, South Donegal and North Roscommon constituency.

It’s believed that Perry was expelled from the party via a text message and without a hearing.

Speaking to Ocean FM news, Senator Frank Feighan who is a Fine Gael General election candidate in Sligo/Leitrim says the decision to expel Jude Perry was wrong and it was made without his knowledge.
