Mental Health Centre in Sligo ‘consistently non-compliant’

A mental health centre serving Sligo/Leitrim has been ‘consistently non-compliant’ when it comes to individual care plans.

That’s according to a report carried out by the Mental health Commission over the past three years.

The centre based in Sligo Town has failed to show that people have an active role in decisions around the specific care.

John Farrelly, Chief Executive of the Mental Health Commission, tells OceanFM News that main issue for the Sligo centre is the current building.
