Voters in Sligo and Donegal that registered between the 7th of May and the 25th of November 2019 will be automatically included on the Supplementary Register of Electors.
Concerns were raised recently by Donegal Independent TD, Thomas Pringle, that those people would not be eligible to vote in the general election on February 8th as the new list isn’t coming into affect until the 15th.
However, those in Leitrim, around 50, will not be included and must fill in form RFA2 before Wednesday next.
Leitrim County Council are currently in the process of contacting these people to ensure they will be eligible to vote.
